It's early Wednesday morning, and today I leave for Detroit to begin the journey. The Elephant Excursion, that is. The internship I've been dying to get my hands on ever since I first encountered the beauty of the beast. And thus the adventure begins, into the belly of the best. Quite literally. Shoveling their fecal matter. Preparing feed. Making friends. Let's hope their shit isn't quite as big as they say it is.
